BIS Simprug will be 9 years old in July 2012.
We are not yet as long-established as other schools who have a history of 30 years or more. We are also not as leafy or wide-spaced as most other schools. 95% of our student population is made up of Indonesian-born students, whose mother-tongue is predominantly Indonesian and our language of instruction is predominantly English.
Nevertheless, as young as we are, we are an IB World School in all three IB programmes (PYP, MYP and DP) continuing to achieve above-world averages in the IB Diploma examinations and in International Schools’ Assessment (ISA). Our graduates typically complete their university studies in countries abroad. Due to our success so far, we also have waiting lists at most grade levels.
